In August 2018, the Shiseido brand announced the start of a collaboration with Alina Zagitova, a figure skater who won a gold medal in women’s singles at the Pyeongchang Olympics. Athlete will present make-up products of the brand — she will be prepared for performances and social events with the help of Shiseido make-up products. The girl will also take part in the filming of advertising campaigns for the Japanese cosmetics giant.
At a press conference dedicated to the event and held in Tokyo on August 1, Alina admitted that her coach has been using Shiseido products for a long time, and she herself was familiar with them before the start of cooperation, so she was very pleased and at the same time surprised by the offer to become the face of brand.
“Alina Zagitovawhich has gained immense popularity, amazed us all with its strength and beauty, is the best fit for the role of a brand representative, ” — says Shiseido CEO Masahiko Watani. By the age of 16, the figure skater managed to achieve impressive success, but the girl does not plan to stop there. When asked about professional development and plans for the future, Alina answered this way: “My victory is in the past. I forgot about it and strive for new heights. That is why I am very grateful to Shiseido for their support.”
The make-up collection presented by Zagitova will appear in Russia in November 2018.
