This smiling brunette is considered one of the best designers in Germany: German glossy magazines write enthusiastically about each of her collections. Dorothy Schumacher visited Moscow and personally presented her new collection at the Vesna shopping center on the new Arbat. Discuss the trends of the spring-summer season gathered Elena Letuchaya, Aurora, Aglaya Tarasova, Tatyana Gevorkyan, Daria Subbotina and other metropolitan fashionistas.

The history of the DOROTHEE SCHUMACHER brand began in the summer of 1989. When Dorothea Schumacher was only 23 years old. More than 25 years have passed since then. Over the years, the style of the brand has gradually crystallized, which is skillfully built on contrasts – just like the changeable female nature. Dorothy is sure that the true strength of a woman lies in her femininity.

Dorothy admitted that she came to Moscow for personal communication with the capital’s fashionistas, she wanted to know their opinion about her new collection, to discuss their tastes and preferences.

In her welcoming speech, Schumacher emphasized that she designs clothes for strong women. To which she was told that she had come to the address. In Russia, there are just a lot of such women who, as the classic wrote, “will stop a galloping horse and enter a burning hut.” And they can also dress up and put on make-up in five minutes, come to full combat “readiness” in between going to the grocery store and checking homework for schoolchildren.

In the new Resort 2018 collection, which was presented at BOSCOFAMILY in Vesna, opposites attract: the cut, borrowed from the men’s wardrobe, is combined with feminine details.. For example, fitted blazers: their silhouette is almost masculine, but wide belts or jewelry give the image a frivolous look. Blouses, decorated with hand embroidery or large cuffs, the designer proposes to combine with mini-skirts made of luxurious brocade and cropped trousers with zippers. The absolute hit of the collection is striped dresses with a V-neck and a scarf collar. It was in this that the TV presenter Aurora appeared at the event.
