Children’s fashion 2018: all the trends of spring and summer

Designers continue to delight us with seasonal “chips” and treat with special trepidation the development of clothes for children, making them comfortable and functional. This time around, the collections feature a lot of Hawaiian motifs, brilliant accents, a variety of textures from the lightness of flowing tulle and soft footer to more tangible denim and coarse jute. The variety of styles, images, colors is so great that every mother will find a solution to any problem.

Outerwear for children

Do not worry about what to wait for the summer heat to the children – the designers have done it for you. Functional parkas with patches and multiple pockets, metallic jackets, reversible bomber jackets, rubberized windbreakers, biker leather jackets with zips and studs, raincoats, classic coats and trench coats are available in a variety of colors. Parkas, coats and raincoats are sewn in all shades of khaki and military style, leather jackets in rock style – in juicy black, red, pink, white, orange tones, raincoats are often made of transparent materials, bombers are characterized by classic black, deep blue , soft olive and deep emerald or trendy star print, and metallic jackets are especially relevant in bronze, gold and silver shades.

Fashion prints – flora and fauna

A red thread in the collections of almost all brands can be traced the presence of floral and animal prints: from tiny ladybugs, small lizards, pink flamingos like Ralph Lauren and bees like Dior and Gucci, to tropical flowers, palm trees, cacti of different sizes. Monnalisa, for example, released the Tuscany Charme collection with large rose and lilac flowers on light trousers and puffy dresses, while the Tropical Mood collection is full of safari, tropics and Mowgli cartoon characters.

Zara, H&M, Mango, Next and others also did not neglect the drawings of large palm leaves and exotic birds. The Gulliver brand has developed two lines: “Rainforest” for girls and “Islander” for boys, young fashionistas dress up in juicy green in combination with white and black. “Palm trees” on girls here echo small peas or Vichy checks, and on boys – with a stripe.

This whole concept of “breathing the jungle” harmoniously looks on any clothes: T-shirts, dresses, sweatshirts, puffy vests, jackets, shorts, skirts, swimwear, jeans, shirts, shoes. Popular images of a unicorn for girls and dinosaurs for boys are often played on t-shirts, shoes and backpacks.

Denim

Not without, of course, comfortable and practical denim and materials that imitate it. In the spring-summer collections, we see denim jackets in a rougher grunge style with patches, scuffs, inscriptions and labels, as well as in a romantic version with embroidery, appliqué, ruffles, sequins or lace inserts.

Rustic style

Very harmoniously fashion designers have entered rustic motifs into summer children’s casual, offering embroidery and lace motifs for everyday wear. Fashion legislators unanimously decided: this season – everyone should shine, both adults and children! Dresses – slips and tulle skirts generously covered with sequins, t-shirts and denim jackets with glitter prints, light sundresses with metallic fibers. By the way, the boys did not remain in the shadows: they will be able to play with glitter in sweatshirts and T-shirts with men’s prints made of double-sided sequins.

Shoes and accessories

At the peak of popularity are woven sandals and hats, jute, straw or raffia basket bags, metallized backpacks and sneakers, belts and sneakers with insect prints, foulards with tassels or lurex, pompoms and fringe on handbags, butterflies and flowers on rims, sandals , hairpins and elastic bands.
