A reasonable question arises – why do this at all? If you are really puzzled by such a question, then, most likely, everything is in order with your voice. But people whose voice is thin and squeaky have probably thought more than once about how to change it so that it becomes rougher. Indeed, if a person whose voice is low and velvety speaks before an audience, then his sound is not only pleasing to the ear, but we willy-nilly also imbue trust in such a person. Yes, and among the opposite sex, men with a low voice are in high demand, women consider a rough male voice an additional sign of masculinity. However, this applies not only to men – if a woman has a low chest voice with a velvety and deep timbre, then she can also sound very sexy.
A high voice is good for operatic singing, but a person who speaks to the public with a speech can quickly tire his listeners. Indeed, is it possible to trust the words of a person whose voice is thin, shrill and squeaky? If you wish, you can believe such a person, of course, but the very sound of his voice will annoy the audience – you will want to “turn off” such a speaker as soon as possible. In addition, a high voice is often perceived as a sign of self-doubt – among the people this is called “gave a rooster.”
But is it possible to change the voice data that you got from birth? This is quite possible, but it will take not 5 minutes, but much more. The pitch of the voice is primarily the length, thickness and width of the vocal cords. The good news is that they are amenable to training, not so good – they are amenable, but to a certain level. In other words, it is unlikely that a high voice can be turned into a bass, but making it a little lower is quite possible.
Vocal experts and public speaking coaches advise doing several exercises, as a result of which the voice can become lower in both the girl and the guy. But first you should make sure that you do not have respiratory diseases, and remember that all exercises are performed with relaxed vocal cords. Ideally, find a vocal teacher and go through all the exercises several times under his supervision.

1. You will have to growl a little, starting with the lowest note that you can master, gradually raising the tone. Just make sure that the ligaments do not overstrain in the process.
2. If you start to draw the sound “and”, raising and lowering your head, you will notice that the tone changes – it gets higher, then lower. This is due to the fact that the ligaments tighten when the head is lowered, and the voice begins to sound lower. The exercise consists in pulling the sound, raising and lowering the head and holding a low timbre, but at the same time do not strain the ligaments, otherwise there is a risk of a breakdown in the voice. Instead of the sound “and”, you can also pull the sound “g”.
3. Singing in a low range – here you will need to sing the sound “a” as low as you can, lowering the timbre every day. But again – make sure that the ligaments do not overstrain.
4. Find vocalists who sing songs in a low range and try to sing in unison with them, repeating their manner.
In addition to vocal lessons, it also makes sense to attend several classes in oratory – the fact is that often the voice is high from internal tightness and excitement. If a person is calm, then his voice sounds lower – just because the vocal cords are relaxed.
