I want/can: Fall fashion purchases we want and can afford

Not always our desires coincide with the possibilities, especially when it comes to updating the wardrobe. Looking through street style chronicles from fashion weeks, photos of celebrities and Instagram * influencers, you want to dress just as stylish and preferably new every time. And this means that not everyone can afford to replenish their wardrobe with seasonal novelties from the collections of leading brands. Democratic brands come to the rescue, in which you can also find edgy things, sometimes identical to those presented in expensive brands (of course, they will differ from them at least in the composition of the fabric and fit). However, do not chase identical things, look for the most similar in cut, color, style.

In our selection of 17 things that are ideally combined both with each other (we tried to arrange them in pairs to make it easier to understand what to wear them with) and with basic wardrobe items.

Blouse with a bow

A blouse with a bow is one of the fashion quotes of the 1970s. It looks great with jeans (flared, skinny or straight – the choice is yours) or leather banana trousers, as well as with more classic pieces, such as a pencil skirt or straight cut trousers.

Beige pants

Straight-cut or A-cut trousers with sand-colored creases are a good investment in your autumn wardrobe. The color is universal, like the model itself. You can wear them with a plain velvet or checkered jacket, a cashmere turtleneck or a knitted polo. You can also play with shoes – loafers, pumps, ankle boots with animal print will be a great pair.

Corduroy jacket

The most fashionable autumn texture of fabric is velveteen. We recommend to take a closer look at the velvet jacket. Unlike the classic costume fabric, it looks less formal, rather artistic (another quote from the bohemian 1970s). He also goes great with jeans and midi skirts.

Pleated skirt

Pleated midi skirts do not lose their relevance. This season they are not plain, but with a degraded effect or an art print.

Elegant jacket with a print

An artistic jacket with a smart floral print is just what you need to diversify your casual business dress code. In this case, it is better to wear it with a plain skirt or trousers.

Plaid jacket

A checkered jacket, referring us to typical English men’s suits, is one of the most coveted purchases this season. What to wear? The solutions are the same as for the previous jackets.

Shirt with patch pockets

A shirt with patch pockets, like on the Calvin Klein show, also made it to the fashion shopping list this season. You can wear it as demonstrated at the show – with a turtleneck (layering is again in trend).

Checked jeans

Plaid is the key trend of autumn. It is not surprising that the designers decided to transfer it even to jeans. What to wear them with? A leather jacket and a voluminous plain sweater are the perfect solution.

Waist bag

Fashion greetings from the 90s are still in no hurry to disappear from the radar. The waist bag is actually very handy, especially when walking in the park, active pastime and when you need to have everything you need close at hand.

Leather beret

Black leather berets became a real fashion breakthrough in the early 90s and now they are back at the peak of popularity. Play with contrasts: wear it with a berry-colored coat or a voluminous down jacket.

Leather shirt dress

Laconic leather dresses this season have become a fashionable alternative to the classic little black dress. Among our favorites is the leather shirt dress. This can be worn with accordion boots, white ankle boots or snake print boots.

Raincoat

Autumn is the rainy season. And you can’t do without a bright raincoat made of waterproof fabric. The rest of the time, such a jacket will be just a stylish parka.

A berry shade coat will make you stand out from the crowd. Our advice is to bet on muted shades, bright ones get bored quickly.

Socks

Sneakers that look like seamless socks with thick soles made a splash last season. In this, ankle boots will easily crowd out. Unlike the latter, they look less formal, but comfortable.

Large earrings are one of the most fashionable accessories of the season. They look great with plaid suits, plain white shirts, and trendy print dresses.
