Ideas for kitchen design: eclectic style

“The main idea behind the project is – creating a cozy space for two young and in love, who not so long ago began to live together, and therefore excitedly enjoying each other. Creating a space that, on the one hand, will provide an opportunity for personal hobbies, and on the other hand, will become a joint nest that has absorbed the romantic spirit of the very first time of a relationship – tender love, – says designer Natalya Komova.

Problem:

1. Typical wallpaper from the developer;

2. A metal bookcase and plastic boxes replaced the furniture set;

3. From technology – a bulky refrigerator and a hob on stools;

4. A bay window that hides the space of the kitchen.

1. We painted the walls in a milky-coffee mocha shade, it is warm, “delicious” and lures you into a cozy space of love and romance.

2. For the kitchen set, we chose facades from the CAPPUCCINO collection. Their calm color, combined with the general coffee range of the interior, also creates a family atmosphere. Thanks to the spectacular glossy surface, the facades are ideally combined with modern high-tech materials and kitchen appliances.

3. We brought the working surface to the same level as the window sill, thus, we managed to achieve a huge space where you can cook, do needlework, and just drink tea.

4. Eclecticism was chosen as the key style, that is, a mixture of styles. In the interior of the new kitchen, the classic background with stucco and the traditional “cabinet” chair is combined with modern and minimalist forms of kitchen fronts.

5. In the kitchen, we managed to place a cozy corner with a soft classic armchair, where you can sit in solitude, read a book or work with a laptop.

6. The main chord of the design project is a bright hand-painted painting on the entire wall, containing a philosophical concept, as well as giving a splash of color and emotions. This is, of course, the most controversial, and therefore valuable element of the entire kitchen. – after all, this is the task that the designer Natalya Komova set for herself – slightly expand the boundaries of perception of heroes, awaken them from routine and hibernation, give them the opportunity to feel the flow of energy that pushes them to great achievements! The plot of the picture was born quite quickly: the bright and soaring Alina immediately caused the designer to associate with the fabulous Firebird. And her, on the contrary, a calm and restrained man Pavel – with the earthy and industrious Elephant. And here’s how to put together these animals that are completely different in size, style and mood – already thought up by the talented artist Katya Kondor. It turned out to be a single creature – totem, protector and patron of love and relationships of our heroes.

• Choose complex, deep colors and play with their shades – thus, any, even a very small, space will find its charm and expand its boundaries.
• Don’t be afraid to mix styles. Most importantly, do it not according to some strict rules read in a smart book, but by listening to your heart. – if every detail, even from completely different eras and styles, reflects your individuality in its own way, it will find its place, and the interior will turn out to be harmonious.
