Pure fashion

Favorite Designer Meghan MarkleNaomi Campbell and Blake Lively Brandon Maxwell released a collection that can be briefly described as an aspiring celebrity capsule wardrobe. The collection is based on pure colors and win-win combinations of things that will allow you to look perfect in any situation. There are about a dozen variations of LCHP (little black dresses), variations on the theme of white top / black bottom and modest dresses for going out.

Designers Proenza Schouler also do not rely on entertainment and hype. The new collection is based on architectural cut and the principle of deconstructivism, pure colors and their combination, voluminous silhouettes of jackets and coats, pleated skirts and flowing A-line dresses. It is easy to imagine both a successful businesswoman and a rising actress in these clothes.

Australian brand designers Zimmermann they offer to go on reconnaissance, and instead of camouflage suits, try on new roles for themselves. A romantic young lady, a guest from the future, a treasure hunter, a good girl – with the help of outfits, changing roles is as easy as shelling pears.

But Longchamp embarks on a journey through the past and reimagines the legacy of the 1960s, 70s and 80s. Leather miniskirts, dresses with colorful prints and boho-chic are skillfully woven together, reflecting the spirit of modern fashion – just as bold, sometimes reckless and very sensitive to everything new.

Christiano Siriano, on the contrary, refers to the theme of the future. The collection is based on voluminous silhouettes, holographic effects, silver glitter and glamour. His guests from the future have clearly received an invitation to the coolest party and are competing with each other for the prize in the best outfit category, it is not surprising that even down jackets look luxurious here.

The game of provocation

Behind the American brand Sies Marjan stands the young designer Sander Lak, winner of the prestigious CFDA award. The brand was founded in 2016 and was designed to brighten up boring gray everyday life. The designer’s favorite technique is to mix bright colors, prints and textures of fabrics. In the new collection, they weave Swarovski crystals, holographic prints, leather and lace with ease, using bold color combinations.

For the third time at New York Fashion Week, a Russian brand showed its collection Monosuit. This time the collection was called Space(ship)sheep and it was inspired by space suits in which you can travel to any world – real, virtual, space. The key element of the collection is a futuristic transforming monosuit that can adapt to changeable weather or a flight of fancy through removable modules.
