In Milan, the traditional Fashion Week has ended. Many of the collections that have been shown to the public are actually noteworthy. After all, Italian designers continue to have the most active influence on the development of the fashion industry as a whole. In addition, most Russian fashionistas especially like products “made in Italy”. In any case, all the most prominent metropolitan fashionistas gathered in Milan. Including Ksenia Sobchakwhich has been heading the well-known glossy magazine for some time now and has become a regular at all the most interesting shows.
Apparently, the next autumn-winter season will be extremely bright. Most designers strive to make even outerwear catchy and original. Therefore, the catwalks were filled with bright down jackets and coats, fur coats made of multi-colored pieces or strips of fur. Down with everything gray and boring, everyday and banal. Long live the holiday that is always with you! By the way, bright stripes are generally becoming one of the most current trends. In the MaxMara collection, for example, their number was off scale.
The show of the new, autumn-winter collection of Dolce & Gabbana, as always, caused an unprecedented stir. This time the Italian duo invited the guests of the fashion show to go to a magical masquerade ball. Therefore, a real carriage was installed on the podium, and fashion models in their outfits resembled well-known fairy-tale heroines.
Whom the audience did not see: Cinderella, and the tin soldier, and mice from The Nutcracker. Floral caftans, colorful uniforms, gnomes and princesses, tiaras and clock faces that are about to strike twelve times. You never get tired of being surprised by the fantasy flows of the Italian duet! Skeptics, of course, may object. In childhood, the guys did not finish their game … But now they are playing out! And very successful!
Some experiments of designers are already beyond the boundaries of common sense. Perhaps the most unusual show was the show hosted by Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott. A model walked the runway wearing a chandelier dress. Who will wear this! BUT Lady Gaga? In addition, ladies in “burnt” dresses, covered in soot, walked in front of the astonished audience. And one of the fashion models walked proudly in a literally smoking dress with a miniature smoke machine disguised in its folds and draperies.
Another noticeable trend in most collections: incredible femininity and romance. Lots of ruffles, flounces, bows, lace and floral prints. This is especially evident in the new creations of Alberta Ferretti.
The Prada collection especially attracted with interesting bags with a very memorable decor. And also absolutely unusual jewelry. For example, a necklace that looked more like a bunch of huge old keys.
The Gucci collection also stood out with especially striking models. What was the cost of only a cape with a caramel blue frill!
All these incredibly feminine, luxurious, decorated models, of course, carry a powerful romantic jet. Floral appliques, branded bows, lace will still be in fashion. Minimalism is defeated.
