The so-called boxer braids seem to claim the title of absolute leader among the star hairstyles of this summer. One of the first to braid them Kim Kardashian.
Models have already been seen in the ranks of fans of braids Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Karlie KlossGigi’s sisters and Bella Hadidsingers Rita Ora and Katy Perry. Where does the name “boxing” come from? The answer is simple: it was with such a hairstyle that the heroine of the 2004 film “Million Dollar Baby” performed by Hilary Swanka street girl trained by an aging boxing coach played by Clint Eastwood.
How are these braids made? Firstly, a prerequisite is to divide the hair into a straight parting, and then weave two French braids, starting right from the forehead. Another important detail is not to leave a long tail, weave braids almost to the very end and tighten with a small, barely noticeable elastic band.
The hairstyle is definitely very suitable for young girls. But ladies of a more mature age do not want to give it up. For example, a 35-year-old Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio gladly walks with such a head during the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Playful braids pair perfectly with a cheery multicolour striped jersey long dress from Tommy Hilfiger. Her runway colleague, Brazilian top model Adriana Lima, who also recently turned 35, wears a pigtailed, hippie-inspired denim hoodie dress. And the young but highly successful fashion model Bella Hadid, who will only turn 20 in October, braided her hair in a white off-the-shoulder knit dress from C/Meo brand and took with her a blue quilted Chanel backpack. Agree, it also harmonizes well with the most fashionable hairstyle of the season.
