Tired of the fact that fresh herbs are rarely found in stores? Do you want to feel proud of your own grown plant? Then we will tell you what you can easily grow at home.
What can be grown at home from a bone?
It is advisable to plant orange seeds at the end of winter. It is necessary to extract large seeds, soak for 10 hours in water, and then plant them in a pot to a depth of 1-2 cm. By the spring-summer period, the plant will have time to germinate and receive maximum sunlight. The ideal soil will be “Flower”, containing a complex of mineral additives. It is able to maintain friability for a long time and evenly saturate the plant with nutrients. It is necessary to give preference to the southeast or south side of the apartment or house. Citrus fruits love high humidity, but avoid overwatering the plant. The main thing is not to let the plant freeze, because in winter it is advisable to acquire special lamps. The harvest is slow, if you’re lucky, you will get it in about 10 years.
Lemon requires similar care. It needs pruning every year. With a careless attitude, you just get a grown stick with leaves.
We choose the kernel carefully, the fruit must be ripe and not damaged.
Suitable soil for avocados: peat, turf land and river sand (1: 1: 1). Planting depth up to 3 cm, careful attention to watering the plant to prevent complete drying of the soil. The appearance of sprouts is possible in 2-3 weeks. The direct rays of the sun are not recommended, in order to prevent the ends from drying out, the seedlings should be sprayed daily with a spray bottle.
It is necessary to plant each grain in different pots with a depth of 3-4 cm. If the temperature where the seeds are located is above 30 ° C, then germination is possible within a week. It is better to place the pots on the south side, it is undesirable for the seedlings to succumb to drafts.

All kinds of greens and vegetables can really be grown on a windowsill or balcony.
A rather unpretentious lover of sunlight, it will get along well on your windowsill. We take dill seeds and fall asleep in a pot of earth, watering requires moderate, does not like high humidity. If you want your dill to germinate even better, then it is recommended to soak the seeds in warm water before planting.
Pretty easy to grow. We take a pot, plywood according to its size, an onion and water. We cut a hole in the plywood sheet that matches the size of the bulb. We pour some water into the pot, fix the bulb in the plywood hole and connect our structure. To avoid rotting, the roots of the bulb should barely touch the water. We change the water every week.
Not as easy to grow as the above greens. Soak parsley seeds in water and leave for half an hour. It is better if the seeds are wrapped in layers of gauze. Then we send it to the pot and provide the plant with light saturation. After the seeds sprout, the greens should be thinned out – the distance between the parsley sprouts should be about 4 cm. Parsley has grown, but you should not immediately cut off all the leaves, because it tends to restore them.
An easy way is to use a ready-made plant stem. We send it into the water and after 5-7 days roots may appear. After that, we plant the plant in a pot and water it regularly, sprinkle the leaves with water. When there are more than 6 leaves, you can cut off the top so that it begins to bush.
Lover of light and heat, so you should give preference to the sunny side. Before sowing, soak spinach seeds for several days. Then we sow in a pot of earth, keeping a distance of 4 cm from each other. Water the plant abundantly.
Flowers will also do well in the house, and some can be grown using a seed!
You can easily become the owner of a room palm tree by planting a date seed. The seedling will appear in about a month, the date grows about 5-7 cm per year. Requires minimal care, the main thing is to provide the plant with sunlight and moderate watering.
There are many varieties and colors of this flower. Strong plants grow from seeds that are able to bloom in the second year after planting. It is only necessary to allocate a sunny place on the windowsill for pelargonium and do not forget about regular watering.
We will get the seeds, it is recommended to choose the lightest substrate, which is based on sand, it is worth moistening with caution. It will be interesting to watch the growth of “prickly”. When the cactus grows, it does not require complex care.

It is important to choose hybrids suitable for home growing cucumbers, such as:
Cucumbers are photophilous, the east or south side is well suited for growing. They are thermophilic, the recommended temperature is above +20°С. They are also moisture lovers, so the soil should always be moist. We take large containers, a volume of at least 6 liters, soil with peat or compost, loose. We prepare the seeds, pour them into the brine, discard the pop-ups. We soak the good ones in a solution of potassium permanganate, then we wash them on gauze and plant them in the ground under the film. When the seedlings emerge, they can be transplanted into large containers. We pour every day with warm water, but do not overfill. We process the leaves with a spray gun. Potassium nitrate can be used as a top dressing.
When the whips form and grow, it is worth building supports for them so that the plant weaves.
Harvest in about 35-45 days
We prefer the “Amsterdam” variety. Miniature varieties of carrots are good for growing at home. The soil should be drainage, you can plant in pots, boxes and so on.
We place the seeds on the ground to a depth of about 7 cm. When the carrot sprouts, sprouts a few centimeters, it is worth thinning it out, leaving the densest sprouts at a distance of 2-3 cm from each other. It is not recommended to keep the bed in direct sunlight.
Water the carrots often and make sure that there is not too much moisture to avoid root rot. Can be fed with fertilizers with a low nitrogen content. It will be useful to loosen the soil. Growing temperature from 15°C to 25°C, harvest in about 70 days.
Cherry tomatoes
Ready soil will be convenient. A cylindrical container is recommended, as it is better able to fill with the root system.
We germinate the seeds in small pots: we bury them to a depth of 1.5 cm and cover with cling film, leave in a warm place until the sprouts. When the tomatoes have risen, move them to a larger bowl. Uniform lighting is important for the plant, you can hang fluorescent lamps above them, or regularly turn the tomatoes to the window.
Watering should be careful, because cherry tomatoes are easy to pour. When the plant has grown, we advise you to loosen the soil from time to time and feed it with mineral fertilizers. Using a wooden skewer or pencil, you can create a support for the stem of the tomato.
