In fact, he has a different story, no less fascinating. In the film, a necklace was shot – an exact copy of a necklace from the collection of the Indian Maharaja of Nawanagar. Unfortunately, the original has been lost, but sketches dating back to 1931 have been preserved, according to which it was recreated by Cartier jewelers especially for the filming of the film. It took eight weeks to create, and instead of diamonds, they used zirconia set in white gold. The size of the necklace also changed – it became smaller, since it was originally intended for a man and was larger.
