Alena Akhmadullina looked into the future of fashion and created the first 3D collection

The world is rapidly changing before our eyes and the fashion industry too. Russian designer Alena Akhmadullina made an unusual online presentation. She celebrated the 20th anniversary of her brand with the creation of a 3D collection, which mixed both a look into the future and Russian cultural traditions. As a result, Alena introduced the audience to the fabulous Princess of the future, imagining what awaits the population of the Earth in some 100 years. When people colonize other planets in search of alternative places of residence, and intergalactic flights will become not a fantasy, but a reality.

The designer based the collection on the image of a Dymkovo toy. The traditions of folk crafts are rethought: hence the formats of down-padded dresses, giant quilted kokoshniks, puffy forms appear. A typical Dymkovo toy, a traditional fairy-tale Princess, the heroine of the brand’s new collection, which is presented in such an unusual format.
