Lush hair is the cherished dream of many women and men. We choose a day for a haircut according to the lunar calendar, change masters in search of a “light hand”, try to go to bed earlier and eat better, meticulously study the labels of new shampoos … In general, we take every care of our hair. And of course we would like to know recipes that can help with slow hair growth!
1. Prepare the water
Hard water from the tap is not the best choice for washing your hair. All sorts of harmful impurities that it contains can be exactly the reason why your hair does not grow well. Solution? Before washing your hair boil water with a decoction of chamomile or nettle.
By the way, make sure that the water in which you wash your hair is not too hotOtherwise, it can wash out sebum, drying out the skin and hair.
2. Put on a hat
“Keep your head cool” — perhaps there is a rational grain in this statement, but it should not be taken literally. This is more about emotional self-control, and not about the fact that you need to walk in the winter without a hat! Do not forget that the blood vessels shrink in the cold, from which the nutrition of the hair follicles worsens, hair becomes dull and brittle. That’s what a really messed up hairstyle is!
3. Review your diet
It happens, especially in the cold season, that the body simply lacks useful vitamins and biologically significant elements that are necessary, among other things, for hair health. That’s why it’s sometimes a good idea to take a course of fortifying vitamins and make sure your diet is fairly balanced. This will come in very handy: salmon and other oily fish, green vegetables, carrots, nuts, legumes, chicken and turkey meat, eggs, oysters, grains and dairy products.
4. Try folk recipes
Here are recipes you can try to keep your hair healthy:
-
Rub into the scalp oil sea buckthorn and drink a decoction of young sea buckthorn twigs for hair loss.
-
Find in pharmacies juniper needle tincture or cook it yourself at home. For this, 1 tbsp. l. juniper pour 2 cups boiling water and leave for 3 hours. Then strain and squeeze. Rub the resulting infusion into the hair roots before going to bed, then put on a shower cap, wrap your head with a terry towel and leave for 40-50 minutes.
-
Prepare a solution from onion juice, cognac and a rich decoction of burdock roots. This is an excellent folk remedy for accelerating hair growth!
5. Get rid of stress
Various hair problems (unless you have inherited them) often appear due to nervous tension. We have already written more than once about how to get rid of stress — for example, in the article “Down with the autumn blues!” Walking, yoga, meditation, massage, sports, socializing with nice people… I’m sure you can easily continue this list yourself. Paying attention to mental health is especially important these days!
6. Consult your doctor
Many factors can lead to a slowdown in hair growth: diseases of the endocrine system, disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, taking medications, some trichological problems and dermatological diseases, for example, seborrhea and incipient alopecia (i.e., pathological hair loss) …
Often the true cause can be identified only a specialist and the sooner he does it, the higher your chances of successful treatment!
